GYGO Mobile: Will Apple Ever Behave?

Hello, and welcome to another Wednesday! I downloaded a couple new games this week that, despite the horrible advertisements, I’m actually enjoying—Land Builder, a puzzle game where you rotate little pieces with trees or buildings or water on them to build a little map, and Doodle God, which satisfies my desire to methodically move things around. I’m easy to please.

The genocide in Palestine is ongoing. If you have the funds, consider donating to one of the rotating crowdfunding campaigns at Gaza Funds. The Palestinian Feminist Collective has a lot of excellent reading material to learn more about the conflict, as well as action items you can use any time. I found Steve Salaita’s “A Practical Appraisal of Palestinian Violence” to be a very insightful piece that explains the Palestinian response to decades of colonial violence from Israel—something that’s particularly valuable to have if you have people in your life who don’t understand why calling the October 7 attacks “unprovoked” is a misinformed stance.
