Howdy, gamers! What’s everyone been up to lately? I’ve been watching a lot of Dark Souls 3 while recovering from a cold, but my spirits remain merry and bright! I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit, heading home for the holidays, and forcing my mom to watch The Witcher on Netflix with me. Speaking of Witcher news, you can now listen to Geralt himself read from The Last Wish, the first chronological book in the Witcher series, ahead of the show’s release this weekend on December 20. Now, here’s all the non-Geralt news that happened last week. (more…)

Hello and welcome to GYGO! I’m Kael, and it has been a Week! I’ve been living on a tiny island in Japan for a bit now, and finally found the time to get some gaming in. Whenever I take the three-hour ferry to the mainland I’ve been checking in with my crops in Stardew Valley, at least until the seasickness sets in.
This week’s news is pretty heavy. Take care of yourself, as many of these stories deal with sexual, emotional, and workplace abuse. (more…)

Happy Wednesday! What have you been playing lately? I finished Spider-Man‘s main story and look forward to playing its first DLC chapter, The Heist (more on that below). I also finished Life is Strange 2 episode 1. If you’re looking for a heartbreaking story about two brothers that challenges racism and xenophobia, it’s a must-play. I’m only a few hours into Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but I hope Kassandra’s romance storylines begin sooner than later. Meanwhile I’m also playing Tomb Raider (2013) for the first time and I feel so inspired by Lara’s tenacity. Let us know on Twitter what you’re playing lately! Here’s some recent news we’ve been thinking about. (more…)

Welcome, friends! It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means—an update on how few games your humble editor-in-chief has been playing. It’s not my fault that I’m suddenly addicted to mobile games. 2048 Solitaire, yes. Choices, thanks. Dune, heck yeah. Assassin’s Creed Origins (yeah, I’m that behind) is sitting patiently, waiting for me until I overcome my love of soothing sounds and colors and melodrama and decide it’s time to return to it.
But enough about that, let’s talk about news! (more…)

Welcome to GYGO! I’m Kael, your local weregamer, and I hope your first few days of Halloween have treated you well! I’m going to jump straight into the news, because I lost track of the current moon cycle and I’m afraid I’ll run into the night in search of Mountain Dew. (more…)
