November Roundtable: Let’s Talk About Travel in Games

Let’s talk about travel! Some of us will likely be traveling to visit family or friends, and others will be traveling through virtual spaces and the spaces of our imaginations. Travel is a bit contentious in games; in theory, they’re the perfect means to explore new worlds and do things you could or would never do in real life. Video Games are Reshaping My Relationship with My Chronic Illness

Video Games are Reshaping My Relationship with My Chronic Illness

It’s been over a year since I first started experiencing symptoms of a new chronic illness, as yet undiagnosed and mostly dismissed by doctors. I’ve lived with chronic mental illness my whole life, but this is the first major chronic physical illness I’ve developed. Did you know you can help Gregg move a couch and also go on a crossbow-shooting adventure together? Let us know on Twitter what games you’re playing!

Here’s recent news that’s been on our minds, and check back every Wednesday for more on the latest news in games! (more…)

Finding it in a place they would not have expected, it turns out that Pratchett was an avid gamer and especially a fan of Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls series. (more…)
