If you’re not aware of Wholesome Games, do yourself a favor and take a browse through what must truly be the most wholesome Twitter feed in the whole gaming industry. They did their most recent indie game showcase near the end of August, which saw the announcement of a couple new games from various studios and developers. Among them was Pupperazzi, an upcoming title from developer Sundae Month and publisher Kitfox Games, which puts you behind the camera—and adorable dogs in front of it! With the showcase over and the new Pupperazzi trailer released, we had a chat with game director Isobel Shasha of Sundae Month.

Last month, Kitfox Games took the internet by storm with the announcement of their new “Shack-n’-Slash” game, Boyfriend Dungeon. Covered by all major game news outlets, the game’s trailer has already racked up over 60,000 views on Youtube.

During my recent visit to Stage Select, Toronto’s new gaming convention, I caught the tail end of the keynote address from Tanya X. Short, Creative Director of Kitfox Games. Along with Tanya, Xin Ran Liu, Mike Ditchburn, Jongwoo Kim, and Ryan Roth have combined their years of gaming industry expertise to create Shattered Planet, a survival adventure game where players can “punch aliens… for science,” and the “myth-weaving RPG” Moon Hunters (above).
