April Roundtable: Fools

April Roundtable: Fools

It’s April, the season of fools. As a group of people who both play and write about games, we are the real fools—but this isn’t about us. This month, we’re talking about gaming’s biggest fools, dinguses, and clowns, and what function they have in context.

The Definitive Ranking of Game Frogs, Part I

The Definitive Ranking of Game Frogs, Part I

Once upon a time, a naive editor in chief sat down in the Sidequest Slack, gazed upon her writers, and asked, “What, dear friends, is a worthy followup to Witch Moms and Sword Dads? Postgame.1: Why Are We Talking About Hair, This Is a Video Game Podcast

Postgame.1: Why Are We Talking About Hair, This Is a Video Game Podcast

Welcome to Postgame, Sidequest’s monthly podcast where the editors lay down hot takes on cold games.

BIG spoilers for Red Dead Redemption 2 start at around 33:05, or when Melissa says “Fast forward to Act 3.” They pretty much go through the end of the pod.

Melissa was mistaken about the way that the mission that causes the above spoilers works. In actuality, the game will force you to do the mission by starting it automatically when you enter camp after a certain point.
