Welcome back to Get Your Game On! My name is Zainabb and I’m your host for this week. Recently I’ve been navigating a difficult and extended flare so I haven’t been gaming as much as I’d like. I did finally start Stardew Valley but immediately became overwhelmed and I was also put off by its (extremely limited and ableist!) disability representation so I, uh, have not returned to it yet. Instead, I’m back on my The Sims bullshit and rebuilt my main family’s house for the third time this year!

Review: Wytchwood Is Easy But Not Accessible

Sidequest was provided with a copy of Wytchwood for PC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I am fatigued all of the time, with deep muscle pain that, over the past year, has spread from my legs into my arms and wrists. When my illness is particularly bad, I cannot eat. I feel nauseous, I get cramps, I can’t stand or walk for too long. In the last twelve months, I’ve also started a master’s degree on top of work, and I’ve continued to cope with mental illness and ongoing trauma. It’s been a rough year. (more…)
