Happy Wednesday! May your inbox be blessed and clear, I say, with a weekend’s worth of new game announcements clogging mine up. I love a new game announcement as much as the next person, but imagine a world where we get a neat little digest instead of roughly 800 emails at a time. No, let’s go a step further and imagine a world without email. Ah, bliss.
Anyway, here’s what’s been happening in the world of games this week! (more…)

Hello, and welcome to GYGO! I’m Kael, your local doughnut enthusiast, and I’m writing this with severe heartburn as I recover from having too many deep-fried dough balls for breakfast. When I wasn’t running up against the frailties of the human stomach, I modded two separate Elder Scrolls games. I really love some of Oblivion‘s quests but lack of controller support drove me right back into Skyrim‘s (thanks to a body mod) incredibly well-sculpted arms.
Anyway, the news! (more…)

Hello and welcome to GYGO! I’m Kael, your local good hunter, and I’ve been spending a lot of my time chilling with the doll in Bloodborne this week. That is, until i got distracted by Control‘s AWE DLC, which I’m now deep in. In between I’ve also found the time to pick up embroidery, which is actually super fun. Anyway between my thousand hobbies I also found some great, and not so great, news for this week! (more…)

Welcome to This Month in Yikes, a new column where we round up the worst behavior of the month in a single column. From sales gone awry to the evergreen issue of harassment in video games, May felt especially long and fraught with drama.
We began and ended May with some news from Gearbox that dotted the spectrum from strange to terrible. Here’s the rundown on that and everything else that occurred in the middle of the Randy Pitchford sandwich. (more…)

Happy Wednesday! Every Wednesday, Sidequest brings you Get Your Game On, a round-up of recent gaming news. What games are you playing lately or looking forward to? Let us know on Twitter! I’ve been playing Life is Strange 2: Episode Three, which released last week. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster as brothers Sean and Daniel, who had been train-hopping and homeless since the last episode, have found a community of friends and jobs working at a pot farm. If you’re looking for an immersive story game that explores themes of found family and friendship in the context of insecure employment and living on the margins of society, check out Life is Strange 2.
Here’s news we’ve been thinking about this week! (more…)
