Happy Wednesday! What games are you playing lately? I’ve been playing The Division 2‘s expansion, Warlords of New York, which is a huge DLC—it feels like it’s as big as the base game. If you want a shooter that you can play completely solo or with other people and lets you do quests in any order, The Division 2 is a lot of fun.
Let us know on Twitter what games you’re playing and looking forward to! Check back every Wednesday for more news and interesting links.
Animal Crossing‘s Record-Breaking Sales
If it seems like everyone you know is playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you’re not alone. AC:NH is the second best-selling game of 2020 behind Modern Warfare, and was the best-selling game in March. In the U.S., it sold more physical copies in its launch month than any Mario or Zelda title.
NPD: Animal Crossing: New Horizons launch numbers surpass any Mario or Zelda title in the US
Third best selling Nintendo game ever (behind SSBU and SSBB)
Currently the 2nd best selling title of the year in the US (behind Modern Warfare)https://t.co/Bk0Eo3zRvW pic.twitter.com/jKL3F0mGWY

Estimates show it sold more digital units in a single month than any game in history; the previous record-holder was Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
Correction: previous record holder is Black Ops 4, not 3, big difference
Also, keep in mind this is just an estimation and we do not have official numbers from Nintendo (yet)
It seems like a popular title
