Happy Wednesday! What games are you playing lately? I started the Spider-Man DLC, The Heist. Black Cat’s flirtatious banter and Peter Parker’s awkward reactions are fun to watch. I’ve also been playing Mass Effect 2 for the first time. It’s interesting to see how Shepard’s Paragon/Renegade morality choices affect her teammates. Lastly, I’ll be playing some Fortnite today to check out its recent updates, since I haven’t played it in a couple months. Let us know on Twitter what you’re playing!

Riot Games, the developer of one of the most popular games in the world, League of Legends, is facing a lawsuit filed by one current and one former employee. While many artists have been abuzz last week with making gorgeous art of League of Legends‘ K/DA skins, renowned artist Rian Gonzales (whose work includes Marvel and Archie covers) offers a valuable note:

Games Bleat

Welcome to Games Bleat! I’m Kael, your local gay tiefling enthusiast, and I just think their horns are neat! Unrelated to my love of tall, beefy, demonkin mages are the sales and new releases I’m about to impart unto you.

First the sales!

PC

Next, the new games!

First is Bad Dream Fever, a dark point and click adventure game about a world falling into darkness. A strange plague covers the world and leaves it barren, which is also to say, full of mystery. Explore this empty world and uncover the secrets it contains. Or be me and just click on things at random when you can’t figure out the puzzle.

Next is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy! This remake of the original Spyro the Dragon trilogy has me absolutely buzzing. The number of days I spent skateboarding with that little purple dragon are downright uncountable, and I sincerely hope that it lives up to the memory. The game’s been remodeled and retextured, and the controls buffed up to modern standards—hopefully making it freshly accessible to new players.

Finally I have Halflight, an puzzle adventure set in 40s Taiwan. After three years in development, Halflight is being released for free by Studio MATCHB—a group of game design students looking to share their love of games with the world. Halfight looks absolutely beautiful, as well as atmospheric and a little terrifying. I’m more than excited to see what it brings to the scene.

And that’s it for this week’s bleat! I’m off to go commission some fanart for my OCs, catch you next time!
