Alright, Attack on Titans fans, this week has been chock full of news. If you’ve been busy, no worries. I’ve got you covered.

On Wednesday, Atlus released the latest sneak peek of the new game, Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, highlighting the features that will be available for in game play. The under-a-minute video was fairly lackluster. Spoiler alert! You get to fight fearsome Titans. I was hoping for a little more meat, like details on game play and mechanics, but outside of stating the obvious, like having combat skills and weapons, there wasn’t much there.

The real news of the week for fans is the release of the new trailer for the live action Attack on Titan movie. Drum roll, please: it looks AMAZING! Like so many other fans I’ve been so worried about the many ways it could go wrong. Granted, there’s still time, but the second trailer nails the environment and scale, making the Titans look terrifying. I’m also pleased so far with the casting of Mikasa, who is my favorite character. The movie is currently in post-production and set to release later this year.
